The Iglesia Ni Cristo is the native religion of the Philippines. It is considered the largest indigenous religion in Asia and is one of the fastest growing religion or sect in the world.
The church has been officially established in the Philippines on July 27, 1914 through the preaching of Brother Felix Manalo.
The members of the church believe that the establishment of the Iglesia Ni Cristo in the Philippines is a fulfillment of the prophesy of God and of Christ. The date July 27, 1914 is also the time of the outbreak of the first world war.
Filipinos should be pride of the accomplishment of the Iglesia Ni Cristo considering that the church is a native of the Philippines. However, they tend to persecute the church by calling its members as murderers and others.
Actually, people are just persecuting the church. It is not true that the church is murderers. However, I admit that there are few who committed the crime. But the crime committed by an individual member couldn’t be accused to all members of the church.
Just like what happened to the Roman Catholic Church. Here in the Philippines, most of the people in jail are Catholics. But we do not consider the Roman Catholic Church as murderer because the one who committed the crime is only its member not the church.
In the Iglesia ni Cristo case, you couldn’t accuse the Iglesia Ni Cristo as murderer because murder is one of the prohibited acts that the church is teaching to its members. Members were taught to share love not just to other members of the church but also to those who are considered enemies.
